Emilie's work combines an eerie and elegant aesthetic with intuitive storytelling to create cinematic experiences. With a performance background and a Master of Fine Arts in Film from the California Institute of the Arts, Emilie's experience in front of and behind the camera places her in a fluid position to create moving images: from feature films, music videos, and branded content to fine art installations.

Her work recently appeared in Rolling Stone and the Wall Street Journal. She has screened nationally and internationally at the Film de Femmes in Paris, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Cannes Short Film Corner, Prague Quadrennial, The Hammer Museum, and the REDCAT/Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Her performance work was seen at the 2013 Slamdance Film Festival, and in 2014 earned her an invitation to apply to the Sundance New Frontier Story Lab.

She currently works as a Creative Director in Branded Content at Trailer Park, Inc. Originally from the Midwest, she lives in Los Angeles with her rescue pup, Floyd.
